Okay, so this week is actu­ally  two weeks worth of comics that I picked up and there hap­pen to be a few so..

Dyna­mite Comics

The Com­plete Drac­ula issue 3

Obvi­ously, issue three picks up where issue two left off and that’s all I will say for the moment…the jury ( namely me ) is still out on this series, but I do know that they will be offer­ing the com­plete series as a ” Hard­cover ” edi­tion when all is said and done.

House of Mys­tery issue#17

” Poet­ics ” part two of the Beauty of Decay storyline

What I’ve liked most about this new series, House of Mys­tery, is the story within a story con­cept which actu­ally draws you fur­ther into this comic. So far, I have not been dis­ap­pointed with a sin­gle issue of this comic..not a one!

Cap­tain Amer­ica Reborn issue#3

Okay, is he dead or not?!

This series is very inter­est­ing as we see glimpses into the past of Steve Rogers, col­lid­ing with the present…and let me tell you that one page can make or break a comic…page three of this issue with Namor is to quote an oft time used phrase..” Nuff Said ! ”

Okay, lets look at my least favorite of these comics I picked up this week…

Dead Romeo issue#Six

I have to say that I was really dis­ap­pointed with this series ( and I haven’t even fin­ished this issue ), but it just didn’t do it for me…while the story was not too bad, it just was not engag­ing enough for my lik­ing, and I sorry to say that the art just did not get it at all.

Dead Romeo can stay dead.

Action Comics issue#880 and Super­girl issue#44

Both of these comics con­tin­ues the Codename:Patriot sto­ry­line which began in the Super­man: World of New Kryp­ton comic series

Okay, I have to admit that this is a sto­ry­line that I believe I will have to fol­low through all of the Super­man titles, as the whole New Kryp­ton sto­ry­line has caught my inter­est to say the least.

And the Sum­mer Block­buster comics series event from DC con­tin­ues to rum­ble into the Fall withn the con­tin­u­a­tion of Black­est Night…

Black­est Night issues#3

Black Hand con­tin­ues to grow his Black Lantern ranks as this series con­tin­ues onward and we see more of the fallen heroes of the DC Uni­verse, rise and swell the ranks of the Black Lanterns.

Black­est Night: Bat­man issue#2

Okay, so here is one of the ties ins to this series along with the Black­est Night : Super­man lim­ited series that I’m fol­low­ing, but have not got­ten to read as of yet, so I really can­not say a whole lot about this as of yet.
