With everything that has happened to me over the past few months, and my new commitment to spending more time enjoying life and my family and friends in general, I started to look at the D&D Universe again as far as possibly starting a Role Playing Campaign, and immediately gravitated towards the ” Forgotten Realms ” setting.
With such a vast background, and rich history, I felt that this would be the place to return to for my D&D campaigning efforts…of course I have not even cracked open any of the D&D ver 4 books as of yet, but this is certainly the immpetus that would be needed to have that occur!
Of course, the fact that I have already started to look over ” The Grand History of the Realms ” doesn’t hurt matters either ( nothing like totally immersing one’s self into the world you are looking to campaign in and or run for that matter! ), and I have the new Forgotten Realms Campaign Tome headed my way in September, along with the players guide, and did I mention that I have already ordered ” Keep on the Shadowfell “an H1 adventure for player levels 1-3, and also ” Thunderspire Labyrinth ” an H2 adventure for player levels 4-6
So, I would say I’m already loaded for bear, as far as starting a new campaign goes, and of course as always, more to follow on this stuff okay!
