I happened to go over to Comics Worth Reading just a little while ago, and I found this story about the demise of New Type USA Magazine and in the aftermath, the debut of a new magazine simply called PIQ.
It seems that this new mag will be a bit more diversified, and cover things such as Anime, Video Games, Comics ( looks like they are doing a story on Marvel’s Secret Invasion ) and are even doing a story on the recent mini series on Sci-Fi, Tin Man.
There is also a website here,that is still in development. So far everything I have seen as far as comments on the new mag seem positive ( not that it would really matter if everyone was po’ed anyway ) and it seems there is an article asking the question ” Is Anime Dead ” , it would seem a silly question in my opinion, but I guess I won’t know for sure till I get this first issue and come to my own conclusions…obviously more to come on this new magazine ( if I’m actually able to get a copy of the first issue )
