With last year’s mega, weekly event, 52, you were expected to get to your local comics shop and read every weekly issue of this offering from DC Comics, and hopefully you were able to. I on the other hand couldn’t do it. I lost interest after issue 6, and mostly due to the fact that I had to make decisions about what books I would pick up every week. After a few weeks of this ” what book do I not take this week “, so I can pick another issue of 52, I said enough. I just did not feel this storyline would be ” that Earth Shattering ” that I just absolutely had to have every issue.
But, I have decided to try to make the commitment to this storyline and try to pick up every weekly issue. Luckily, I didn’t make this a New Years Resolution, so if I falter and say I’ve had enough of this nonsense again, the rest of my year won’t be ruined by not collecting every issue.
