DC Cancels Action Comics 3D Edition

As reported by Matt Brady on Newsrama.com, DC comics has reported a content and scheduling change for Action Comics #848, which was to be the last part of the ” Last Son ” storyline and was to be a 3D issue with 3d work being done by none other than Ray Zone, has apparently been canceled by the publisher. No reason was given at this point in the article as to why the issue was canceled, but I for one am not a happy camper, as I was looking forward to donning my 3D specs and be immersed in the greatness of Ray Zone produced 3D.

This tends to give me thought to the Ultimate Wolverine vs Hulk, NON-EXISTENT event that started sometime ( I forget exactly when now ) last year, and has been on hiatus for sseveral months now. Frankly, at this point in time I am not all that psyched to bother picking up the rest of the series.

I think that the publishers need to remember that the fans who read the comics they publish are important, and deserve to be taken into consideration, when they announce a new series, a new storyline, when a series is put on hiatus for WHATEVER REASON, or canceling when canceling an issue after it has been announced and has generated fan interest.

While ” Free Comic Book Day ” is a great opportunity to bring new readers into the fold, the best way to keep them here in the community is by not constantly becoming disappointments to us, your Fanboys.
